March Speaker’s Night

Has been moved to a special week.

The meeting will be on Wednesday, March 25 at 7pm.

April Special Speaker’s Night and Fundraiser

Celebrate Earth Day with a special fundraising sneak preview of the award-winning documentary The Last Howl at Calgary’s historic Plaza Theatre.

Presented by the Chinook Kiwanis Club, this inspiring film follows wildlife filmmaker Matt Paproski and his wheelchair-bound brother Troy as they travel across Canada exploring wolf conservation while reflecting on their remarkable 20-year journey raising wolves.

Although the film is not scheduled for public release until fall 2026, audiences will have the rare opportunity to attend this exclusive preview screening and meet director Matthew Todd Paproski, who will be in attendance to share insights and answer questions about the film.

The Last Howl has already earned multiple international film festival honours, including Best Nature/Wildlife Film and Best Director (Documentary Feature) at the Cannes World Film Festival.

Proceeds from the evening will support Chinook Kiwanis youth leadership programs in our community.

Join us for an inspiring Earth Day evening of film, conversation, and community — all while supporting the next generation of young leaders.
