Kiwanis Calgary Chinook Celebrates 10000th Bike Give Away.

Our goal in 2026 is to continue providing ‘Bike’ & ‘Bike Helmet’ days so that we can continue to brighten the days of less fortunate children in our community. We hope to increase our numbers to previous years totals. We are also bringing back our backpack program.

During 2025, the Kiwanis Club of Calgary Chinook donated 277 bicycles and 274 helmets. We also distributed approximately 141 pieces of sporting goods to children, their families, and individuals less fortunate than ourselves. Sadly, our numbers were down last year due to the health issues of our bike coordinator. We also didn’t do our backpack program because of this.
