FTC Robotic Club Grant

In 2021 Kiwanis Calgary Chinook initiated a grant for Junior High Schools that would like to participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge. The grant supports them with the costs of purchasing their first Robotics kit. The kit allows them to build their robot and compete in the FTC competition.

The 2023 team that Kiwanis Calgary Chinook sponsored was the Tom Baines School team.

This past year we provided a small grant to the Mandela United Squadron Robotics Club. This grant helped their teams to buy extra parts and tools to make their robots.
