Kiwanis Calgary Chinook Nears 10000th Bike Give Away.

Our goal in 2025 is to continue providing ‘Bike’ & ‘Bike Helmet’ days so that we can continue to brighten the days of less fortunate children in our community.

During 2024, the Kiwanis Club of Calgary Chinook donated 389 bicycles and 487 helmets. We also distributed approximately 253 pieces of sporting goods to children, their families, and individuals less fortunate than ourselves. This included 89 backpacks stuffed with school supplies. The backpack program received a huge boost from our friends at CIBC Wood Gundy. The employees collected donations of backpacks and school supplies. We ended up with a pickup truck full of supplies. Great job, folks!
